Chinese homicide drama “The Long Season” has become the highest rated TV series on Douban this year with a 9.5 rating. Released on April 22 on Tencent Video, the 12 episode series has already had its finale, but not before going viral on social media. The series, set in a small industrial town in northeastern China, follows three old men as they look back at an old homicide case.
