Faced with an ice-cold job market, young, educated Chinese are moving back in with mom and dad. Some of these “full-time kids” even earn an allowance for helping out around the home, though most hope it’s just a waystation on the road to finding a job, getting into grad school, or figuring out what they want to do with their lives.
