Six people have been confirmed dead and 38 others are injured after three vehicles caught fire following a crash in northern China’s Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, state broadcaster Central China Television reported Monday.
The crash, which involved two trucks and a bus carrying tourists, occurred on a stretch of highway between the cities of Ulanhot and Arxan at around 4:40 p.m. Sunday, Arxan police said in a statement that day. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
Many of the injured suffered bone fractures or burns and were sent to local hospitals, according to The Beijing News. Five people are said to be in critical condition. (Image: Xinhua)
