A man in central Henan Province inadvertently paid 140,000 yuan ($22,000) for a steamed bun through e-payment platform Alipay, TechWeb reported.

The steamed bun vendor says that he recently reported the April 2 transaction to Alipay after he saw the inordinate sum in his end-of-month balance. Given the sum was a 6-digit number, the store owner suspects the buyer entered his PIN instead of the due amount.
