    A Look Back at China’s Favorite Imports

    Following economic reforms, the country’s consumers enjoyed an increased flow of imported goods.

    In the late 1970s, economic reforms took place on the Chinese mainland. As a result, Chinese consumers had increasing access to imports, such as Coca-Cola, KFC, Sony Walkman, and even pop culture. 

    This video highlights popular imported products in the Chinese mainland, from the 1970s to the 1990s.
